Tactical Edge classes in both Glasgow and Edinburgh will stop for 2 weeks from June 17th for Instructor Holidays.
Classes will start back in Motherwell on Tuesday 8th July and in Glasgow Wednesday 9th July.
Tactical Edge Battle Camp Summer 2010
The Battle Camp is open to anyone, not just Tactical Edge members; & is taking place at Combat Ready in Edinburgh on the 17th & 18th of July.
We’ll be offering training in unarmed combatives, Tactical Edge & ComTech weapons systems (edged weapons, stick, improvised & flexible weapons), weapons defence & MUCH more! There is a grading included in the course fee for Tactical Edge members too.
Combat Ready is Marcus Houstons training facility in central Edinburgh. Its just minutes from the train station, & there are regular buses from Edinburgh Airport to the city centre. There are many low cost flights available to Edinburgh, & students can bring sleeping bags & camp in the gym; or take advantage of some of Edinburghs great hotels or B&B’s.

15th May Combat Ready, Edinburgh 2pm – 4pm.
Knife defence is often taught by instructors who have little, or more often no experience of knife attacks & knife crime. What we teach is different. Mark Davies has worked in environments where knife carrying & use was endemic, & teaches from experience.
On the last Counter Knife seminar we concentrated on ‘Threat Positions’. This time we’ll be concentrating on ‘Active Attackers’. We’ll also be addressing attribute building methods to build the body control & co-ordination needed for effective counter knife skills.
